कहते हैं कि इस दर का नाम लेकर कहीं से कभी भी कुछ भी मांगने वाले की झोली कभी खाली नहीं रहती,,, बाबा अपने भक्तों की सारी मुरादें पूरी करते हैं,,, यही वजह है कि होली के पहले पड़ने वाली यानी कि फाल्गुन माह की शुक्ल पक्ष की एकादशी यानी आमलकी एकादशी को यहां पर भक्तों का हुजूम लग जाता है,,, हम बात कर रहे हैं राजस्थान के सीकर में स्थित खाटू धाम की,,, यहां आमलकी एकादशी पर मेला लगता है,,, देश के कोने-कोने से श्रद्धालु यहां दर्शन के लिए आते हैं,,, रंगों और फूलों से सजा बाबा खाटू का दरबार इस एकादशी पर बहुत ही मनोरम लगता है,,, इस मेले में आप में से कई भक्त गए होंगे लेकिन ये बात आप में से बहुत ही कम लोग जानते होंगे कि ये बाबा का मेला फाल्गुन में ही क्यों लगता है,,, आइए आज की विडीओ में आपको इसकी रोचक कथा बताते हैं,,,
खाटू श्याम को अर्जी लगाने वाला भजन: डंके की चोट पे
भक्तों ये कथा महाभारत काल से जुड़ी हुई है,,,कहा जाता है जब लाक्षागृह की घटना से बचने के लिए पांडव वन में भटक रहे थे,,, तभी उनकी मुलाकात हिडिंबा नाम की राक्षसी से हुई थी,,, हिडिंबा भीम पर मोहित थी, ऐसे में माता कुंती की हां के बाद दोनों का विवाह हुआ और उनके पुत्र घटोत्कच का जन्म हुआ,,, बाबा खाटू श्याम भीम के इन्हीं पुत्र घटोत्कच के पुत्र थे,,, उनका नाम बर्बरीक हुआ,,,यानी कि बाबा खाटू श्याम भीम के पोते हुए,,,
कहा जाता है कि बर्बरीक देवी का उपासक थे,,, और उन्हें देवी से तीन दिव्य बाण प्राप्त हुए थे,,, जो अपने लक्ष्य को भेदकर लौट आते थे,,, इससे बर्बरीक को कोई भी हरा नहीं पाता था,,, बर्बरीक को लेकर कही गई कहानियों में ये भी कथा आती है कि जब महाभारत का युद्ध हो रहा था तो बर्बरीक अपने एक ही बाण से युद्ध को समाप्त करने की मंशा से युद्धस्थल जा रहे थे,,, तभी मार्ग में श्री कृष्ण ने बर्बरीक के सामने गरीब ब्राह्मण बनकर उससे दान में उसका शीश मांग लिया क्योंकि प्रभु जानते थे कि बर्बरीक एक ही बाण से युद्ध समाप्त कर सकते हैं,,, कहा जाता है की बर्बरीक भी ये बात जान चुके थे कि ये गरीब साधारण ब्राह्मण तो नहीं है,,,
श्याम जी के इस भजन से मिलती है कष्टों से मुक्ति: कहना मत श्याम किसी से
बर्बरीक ने प्रभु से वास्तविक रूप प्रकट करने का अनुरोध किया,,, इस पर जब उन्हें भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के दर्शन हुए तो बर्बरीक ने प्रभु को अपना शीश दान में दे दिया,,, लेकिन अपनी अंतिम इक्षा के रुप में बर्बरीक ने महाभारत युद्ध देखने की इच्छा जाहिर की,,, इसपर श्रीकृष्ण ने उन्हें युद्धस्थल में एक ऊंचे स्थान पर रख दिया,,, वहां से बर्बरीक ने पूरा युद्ध देखा,,, कहते हैं कि श्री कृष्ण ने बर्बरीक के उस कटे सिर को यह वरदान दिया कि कलयुग में उसे प्रभु के श्याम नाम से जाना जाएगा,,, साथ ही जो भी उनका स्मरण करेगा उसे धर्म, अर्थ, काम और मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होगी,,,

मान्यता है कि इसके बाद श्याम कुंड में बाबा श्याम का मस्तक प्रकट हुआ था,,, जिन्हें खाटू श्याम के नाम से जाना गया,,, कहा जाता है कि जिस दिन बाबा श्याम का मस्तक प्रकट हुआ था, उस दिन फाल्गुन माह में शुक्ल पक्ष की एकादशी थी,,, तब से ही होली के पहले पड़ने वाली इस एकादशी के मौके पर खाटू धाम में मेले का आयोजन होता है,,, जहां श्रद्धालु खाटू श्याम के दर्शन करके पूजा-पाठ करते हैं और उनसे अपने घर-परिवार की सुख-समृद्धि की प्रार्थना करते हैं
